TDK Lambda ESS 150-16 Power Supply

The TDK Lambda ESS 150-16 Power Supply model offers a UL recorded circuit board that gives an essential circuit security and serves as an on/off control. The voltage and output current are calibrated by the controls of 10 turns, mounted on the front board. Simultaneous indication of the output current and the voltage is provided by the front board meters. The voltmeter is connected through the sense terminals for the meter to read the voltage of the load or the voltage of the power supply terminals, depending on the selected sense (local or remote).

Overvoltage protection is available on the ESS 150-16, adjustable from the front panel. This function is standard on all the ESS models. This circuit will soft the discharge of the power supply output and should secure the load when the output voltage achieves the OVP set value. The adjustment will be from 0% on 105% of full Vout. This protection will be successful in any case and will not depend on the reason of the overvoltage. Events which will trigger the OVP include, but are not restricted to: the OVP knob being turned inadvertently, a broken remote sense lead, the voltage connected from an outside source, and server failure in the power supply.

The Power Supply must be legitimately associated to an approved AC circulation box with the effectively rated over current protection. Input voltages over 230 VAC should be supplied from a grounded neutral Wye connected AC power source.
